Sukiya Sushi & Japanese Buffet

Food was magnificent. You definitely get your money's worth with this selection of fresh seafood. Bathrooms were pretty messy though and only one stall had toilet paper.

If you’re looking for a fantastic all-you-can-eat Japanese dining experience, Sukiya Sushi & Japanese Buffet is a must-visit. The food here is excellent—fresh sushi, flavorful crab, and a wide variety of other Japanese favorites that are sure to satisfy any craving. One of the standout features is the sheer variety. From classic rolls to specialty creations, the sushi selection is generous and always replenished. The crab was a definite highlight—juicy, well-prepared, and plentiful. Beyond the seafood, there are hot dishes, appetizers, and even a few surprises like savory skewers and soups. The dining area is spacious and well laid-out, making it ideal for both intimate meals and large gatherings. Even during peak hours, it never felt crowded or chaotic. The service was top notch—attentive, friendly, and incredibly efficient. Plates were cleared promptly, and orders came out quickly and correctly. To top it off, Sukiya offers a selection of Milk Teas and whimsical mousse desserts that add a fun and sweet finish to the meal. Whether you’re a sushi lover or just looking for a satisfying and diverse buffet, this place hits all the right notes. Rating: Highly recommended for great food, excellent service, and a fun, relaxed dining experience.

This is a really fun place. The food is good. The music is great. The staff is attentive, friendly, and everyone feels like they actually want to be there. On the food: I'm not a buffet or "all you can eat" kind of diner because I get overwhelmed but I didn't feel that here. And I even made my own little sushi creation (see pictures). This would be a fun date night place, it was for me.

Everything about this place is 5 stars in my opinion. The service was great! Our server was patient and knowledgeable about the menu. Everything we tried was amazing! And the fact that the buffet was good speaks VOLUMES. Normally buffets are mid to low level quality to me but NOT this place. You are definitely getting what you’re paying for and then some! We did the premium dinner option that was about 40 I believe and comes with a specialty item. I got the wagyu nigiri and it was fatty and delicious. The braised pork belly was probably the best pork belly I’ve had in Utah and it was a buffet item! It felt like it should have been a menu item with how good it was. DO NOT skip out on this place, I beg. You will NOT be disappointed. Also, I recommend the sukiya roll (not pictured because I inhaled it) It was my favorite. (:

I loved this place! The price is definitely worth it for everything they offer. Boba tea, unlimited sushi, and desserts come included in the price. The sushi is made to order and is delivered to the table. The baked rolls are delicious and the firecracker was my favorite. It’s very clean for a buffet and the waitresses are very nice. This location is larger and has a little bit more variety in the bar than their newer Orem location.

Fun and family friendly. Kids loved all the variety of foods. They ate so fast they got so full too fast. I took it slow and steady to really taste all the things. My favorite by far is the crabs that are cut in half. The crab legs were salty. The fried shrimp was mid. But overall. Not a bad place to eat out with the family. Will we come back again? Yes. How often would we dine in? Maybe once every 6 months. Is the price worth it? It’s not bad, but we could find something similar that’s closer to home.

One of the best places! The food is delicious and fresh, the customer service is exceptional, and atmosphere is calm and clean. We love everything about it! Highly recommend. We will come back again.

The sushi buffet stations are excellent—everything is cooked well, replenished frequently, and kept fresh. I genuinely enjoyed every item I picked from that section. A big plus is that all the specialty rolls from the menu are included with the buffet. Definitely a fun place to try new things if you’re open to a fusion-style sushi experience.
